St. John the Baptist, Brooklyn NY

Designed by Patrick Keely and built in 1888 Saint John the Baptist Church is a massive Romanesque church with side aisle windows designed by Otto Heinike. Over the years, the methodically designed church suffered several internal fires, and amongst other issues fell into disrepair.

Despite its precarious conditions, the church’s active congregation sought out Z&A for its experience in historic, religious restoration.

Extensive field reports and inspections yielded custom detailed construction documents for authentic masonry repair.  Zaskorski & Associates’ experience in restoring religious institutions was again validated by the results of this restoration.
